I do make my own cough syrup but it's non-alcoholic, no still needed. Lemon, onion, ginger and honey, will def clean your sinuses, clear your throat and wake you up!

Love the way muscadines smell. They're that big golden grape, right?

I have done that in times of great need. I may just have to learn how to make my own that way too. Just another part of being self sufficient.

It's not seedless. Another variety is seedless.

I'm pretty sure I had some golden muscadines long ago and far away. Memory fails, though. Maybe they were Lambruscas? I just remember as they were ripening, their perfume filled the neighborhood where we lived. Intoxicating! They were sweet but thick-skinned and had seeds.
