Granny's gone and done it again

Isn't Truvia a combination of Stevia and a form of Dextrose? We've used a lot of Truvia in the past. We normally bought the store brand from Publix when we used it. Same content.
I'll check the label tomorrow. Is dextrose something I should avoid?

I don't think so. It's been used by diabetics for decades. It's the thing in some sweet treats that you don't OD on or you will be camped out....

Gotta get up early, Girl Child and I are off on a road trip, headed to Alabama to pick up some beautiful lavender EE chicks.

I've been treating a dirty-bummed older hen that I think is passing "rubber" eggs, soft-shelled eggs, for several days. Gave her a calcium citrate +D3 last night and tonight. Her crop also feels rather tight to me but I seem to be out of coconut oil ... gave her a nice warm bath tonight, she was crusty. Trimmed feathers last night. She's at least 3 years old, could be four. Tonight I found THREE rubber eggs in the poop tray, or rather two in poop tray and later, DH found one outside by a gate. Pretty sure it's the same hen, nobody else shown any signs of distress. Advice welcome! Thank you and good night.
