I feel bad for you Blue. When did you start using 2 canes ? I bet climbing stairs is getting pretty hard on you. Maybe you could use an upstairs bedroom? I also wonder about the seats that take you up the stairs?

I'm sure I'll be back on my feet in a day or two, thanks, Granny. Ot I'll see my primary anx find out if I need a new knee, lol! It just seemed to go blooey all of a sudden. I've been babying my left ankle for years, it's fragile and weak ... then suddenly my right knee feels like it's got a bone spur or something and hurts like .... bells! I can't be crippled in BOTH legs!

I think I'm a long way from this, or hope I am. I'll move upstairs and move one of the kids downstairs I guess if I have to. But there's def room for a chairlift if we decide to go that route, the stairwell is nice and wide .... but our stairs are a little steeper than standard. I hope they can install one if we need it.

I put my little injured chick and its companion out in gen pop tonight, it seemed a lot better. DH watched them for a bit and said they mingled right in, no problemo. They are a little over 4 weeks old.

My eye lids are heavy and their power lift is not working right. I need to stay up until at least 10 so I will not be up by 4 and still to sleepy to do anything and not awake enough either.

I just spent some time on Google Maps looking at the suburbs north of Detroit. My old haunts of where I worked and lived are no longer there as such.

I sure do not miss the winters and the lake effect snow storms. The day after we got there a blizzard rolled in. Hated driving in the slushy stuff as it started to melt. Dirty muddy snow all over cars every where.

One summer in July is was cold enough a group of us young married age group were having a picnic in a park and had to wear sweaters to play football in. That cold on a Saturday in July!

The worst sunburn I ever got was on Memorial Day fishing on Fletcher's Pond in MI. All that white meat being exposed to sun rays for the first time in months.... Not a good thing to do. I was just so glad to get out of being a shut in I didn't think I guess.
