Granny I went overboard on lunch today. A fried egg sandwich with 2 eggs and a slice of American cheese. I can rest until 4pm now. To wet to mow. Not turning the coops out until we go out at 4pm.

I stopped in a small town near me yesterday and bought a steak finger basket. It was delicious but $14.00?
I managed to get half the pasture mowed and a few stripes on the other half before the heat ran me inside. I'll tackle the rest later this evening.

LOL Light weight! I had 2 eggs, ham ,shredded taters,gravy and biscuits I didnt eat all the gravy and biscuits though

That is cheap by Calif standard. I pay that for a burger with nothing else. This 20 dollar minimum wage is running out some good fast foods. Rubio coastal grill has shut down. They closed 49 locations.

I got a little mowing done during chores as I take the John Deere from coop to coop rather than walk over the terrain not fit for human feet some days. At least my feet. This ground it to hard for any more falls on it. I managed to find some 24" high chicken wire under a camellia bush that was not visible and it wrapped like a steel cable around one of the blades. I lifted one side of the deck up while Ma put some cement type solid paver blocks under it. I finally got it all off with some tin snips. That was the second time today I wrapped it up. The 3rd time this week.
