The forecast for today was 92° and was 95° earlier so if I add that mistake to the Saturday forecast that is 102° on my porch. We will be in the AC in the van come Saturday.

GC and I have been walking laps around the house after dinner every night. Three laps usually is about all I can manage. Tonight it was too hot to do more than one. Guess we are going to have to start walking early in the a.m. But tomorrow I want to clean out the hen house and put in new paper. See if they will start using those nests again that they have rejected after the snake was out there.

I'm playing the game musical coops again tonight. Once it is dark enough I can snatch chickens off of the roost I'm combining 8 roosters into one coop. They have all been together before and it is time for them to work out any differences again come daylight.

Blue, I need to do that too. This house still screams mom. The top of my cabinets are full of roosters and they are filthy. I probably couldnt even get them clean. Not sure where to start
China cabinet is also full of her nic nacs. IDK what to do with that.

Over to Home Depot for some hardware cloth need to build another coop.

It's dark now so on goes the headlight and out to the coops I go to catch the big boys first and the start moving juvenile birds out of the way of incoming from the brooder now. Have a week to get the brooder sterile again.
