Dec 9, 2022 — Plunging the body into cold water triggers a sudden, rapid increase in breathing, heart rate and blood pressure known as the cold shock response ...
I wonder how many people have had heart issues cured because of the american heart association. My guess is "they" are much more interested in treating the condition than curing it, treating it means continued cash flow for pharmaceuticals. Curing the condition means the cash flow to the doctor stops when the problem is fixed.
So my conclusion is that this procedure is so effective that "they" have to make it sound dangerous. I wouldn't start with ice cold water, I would start with ambient temperature water such as a pool in the backyard. Do it during the day at first and slowly acclimate your body to do it in the morning to get that heart a pumpin' first thing. Note: acclimate yourself slowly, don't fill your pool with ice cubes and water and jump in.
Have you ever done it?
Yes! So has my wife. It gives your skin a tingly feeling. . . and. . . it can be addictive because of the rush it gives you. Overall we've found that we feel much more invigorated and refreshed throughout the day.

Wow! I dont like that. people killing for trophys. Food yes. Those things arent cheap to have stuffed either.
50 years ago it was common place. You can't do that now. It's been outlawed all over the world. I wouldn't even have a fish mounted for a trophy. I don't like catch and release sport fishing either. If I want a fish for food that's one thing but to catch one for a photo op that is not for me. I'll shoot and kill a predator in a heart beat in a chicken coop but not for a trophy. Only to save the lives of my chickens.

I cant disagree with you. They need that $

Yes I know that is how that works. He did have enough income taxes paid on 40 or more quarters to draw SSI evidently. He will get that as long as he lives. The your as his spouse can draw on his, not yours, if he is living when you turn a certain age. The min age for drawing at a reduced amount. At one time that was about 62. I don't know now. You have to go to the horse's mouth to find out just where you stand on drawing on Tom's earnings. My mother drew on my dads because he had paid more in than she did.
This is true Granny. I drew on Scott's and I barely had any coming to me because I didn't work enough. This lady I talked to started asking me about my husband. She told me I could draw on Scott's. I was skeptical at first..didn't want to take away from his. She says..noo..you wouldn't be doing that. You just get to have some added to yours. Mine was practically nill..a 100 a month was all. Well that added was over 900 dollars! Now that he is gone..it's even more! A lot more. It doesn't hurt to call and ask questions. Now on Toms. Larry is right. I just posted about those Comercials. Have him go into an advantage plan. I started on AARP. Changed last year to Aetna. He would have coverage on dentist, hearing, and eyes. So much more. If he needs a ride to a dr..they'll find one for him. At least I know that's covered on mine. I'm not needing that. They'll send a person/nurse in to check on him. I'm not ready for that yet. There's so much that is added. The OTC is wonderful. I just call a number that's in the book you'll get and order. Or you can do it online or ho to a store they suggest. I don't want to go shop..so I call. Call them. Two different things. Yes it takes time to set things up for the Advantage plan but it's easy. They just ask the questions. It's so worth it. On the SS can you imagine getting hundreds more a month? Call the number Larry sent. :)
