Granny's gone and done it again

Doesn’t she have to be 62
I wondered about this too..because I'm nit sure of her age, but I believe you do. Not sure. Wait..just checked it out...

A spouse can receive Social Security benefits based on their spouse's earnings if they are at least 62 years old or have a qualifying child in their care. A qualifying child is under the age of 16 ... or ... receives Social Security disability benefits. The spouse must also wait until their spouse has filed for benefits, regardless of age.

Robert receives SSI..Right? And Tom has benefits. You can do this Granny!

Found this too.
Can a wife draw on husband's Social Security if she never worked?

A wife with no work record or low benefit entitlement on her own work record is eligible for between one-third and one-half of her spouse's Social Security benefit.

yes, after he passes. If he goes first
No..I got the 900 dollars started monthly while he was alive. I've been looking around on this since we're talking about it..I get more now on what's called the Widow's benefit.
