Larry you're right. Maybe next year you can downsize your crops and birds. You will be a year older. No sign of Twist yet? I know what it is like to have so many irons in the fire that I can't keep any of them hot. l am struggling between the food plots for us called gardens and building coops as well as keeping existing coops in feed and fresh water. And now all of these things are being done in heat that can be deadly. We are under a heat advisory again tomorrow. Make that heat advisory for today as it is today already. In the heat we are having like it is every summer this time of year we can walk the 10 coops putting out feed and water and by the time we get back inside neither of us have a dry stitch on. I've been going through at least 3-4 sets of work clothes a day. I am thankful I still have the strength to do this and am not in a nursing home like many my age.

You are not supposed to harvest peas and beans when the plants are wet. Both are at their peak of quality now. The plan was to pick them early when the dew is off and get them inside in the AC spread out on paper on the floor to chill while we shell.
