Granny's gone and done it again

I didn't have a garden this year. I've been selling collectibles online part-time. DH would like to start airbrushing again. If I slow down physical work in the heat so my health gets back on track now, then maybe I can do outside work again next year. I didn't plant flowers either. But I do enjoy the evenings in the yard with my chickens and puppies!

Oh maaan. There's another snake in my hen house. Probably the mate to the one I dispatched a couple weeks ago. But this one got away and slithered under the hen house before I could do anything. I already knew it was out there, I could smell it. And I suspected it was leaving scat in the poop trays. Very black, sticky, shiny poops with no urates. I'll get him. One way or another. No snakes allowed in my coop!

I don't have new puppies but Butchy Boy and Betty are still puppies... With lots of energy! I'm not sure if we own them or they own us!

You can see the chicken in the corner, they are chasing her but she chased them first. My chickens are 3 years old and that chicken crows every morning. I'm serious that she sounds exactly like a rooster.

I've always loved these. Never had a chance to rescue or foster any. A lady across the street has some. Mine are 2 Schnauzers and a Shi Tzu I keep short haired. My Shi Tzu is the older one having health problems.

So cute!!! Love when they cock their head like that! What kind of health problems? Butchy Boy has a heart murmur. I keep thinking I should get pet insurance
