Hard to find a good ham hock here. Last one I had Twist sent me.Granny you can also get big bags of frozen greens that are not seasoned from Walmart and let them simmer for a couple of hours with your choice of seasoning meat and they will not be spicy and will be very delicious.
Noo one here will eat them but me. No need kicking a dead horseGranny add a can of bland to the hot and spicy greens and they should be fine. We often mix one spicy to one or two cans of bland when we do not have fresh to work with.
Do you ever see smoke neck bones in the stores? You may have to bite the bullet and go to Kroger to get a good ham hock. We used to get them at Kroger in TN. Wish we had a Kroger here. None in AL that I know of.Hard to find a good ham hock here. Last one I had Twist sent me.
Then get a 10oz box just for you. You deserve a break today like the McD's old commercial said.Noo one here will eat them but me. No need kicking a dead horse
