Granny's gone and done it again

Most of the Lenament has been weeded again and peat/spaguhm moss spread to control weeds and conserve moisture. Used 5 bales and I need at least one more. Got the pea's started on the fence to climb. Have been getting shots and fast storms all week and power flickers all week as well.

I keep falling asleep! Twist, good to hear from you. I hope you caught all the coons!
OH I am sure there are more. also mixed up the poison recipe I found here on BYC and the coons ate ALL of it up in a single night. May they crawl off and die.

thats one critter I dont mind seeing gone. I will never get that picture out of my head.

Spent the day working on one room , had the drain guys over and so the tub is draining BUT the fawcet wouldn't turn off all the way and was EXTREMELY hard to turn. So trip to the hardware store for new guts for that , then replaced the toilet seat in there that she broke and put another spacer in the screendoor latch so it would stay closed better. Then had to get the locksmith over to fix a lock on a door that had been kicked in (different lady) claims it wasn't her. Also had to fix the storm window's and they messed that up trying to get out of the room when the door would not open.
Brought in a whopping 11 eggs on Tuesday a week's total lay. :rant

Twist I've not seen signs of a coon but do believe some of my pets were taken by a fox. So I've devised a way to take them alive first. Now I believe I have a snake stealing eggs from a broody. First on the agenda is a snake trap.

haven't had to worry about foxes or coyotes since I got the yaks. There used to be a fox den in the big pasture. The yaks found it, caved the walls in and then stamped/trampled the hole so tight/solid you would need a jack hammer to get back into that hole.
