Hardys suck. Ive only been there a couple times for the years we have lived here. I was overcharged. The meat? was supposed to be angus. I dont think it was even meat. Ordered frisco burger . It was supposed to be on toast. It was buns and they were chewy. IDK what causes that. No more Hardys for me.

You have no idea how many times my brain went to..did I get that last load out?

And mine from yesterday is still in there.

I always keep up, as it's just a load a week—like one week lights/whites and the next everything else. This past week, it was two loads back to back, so my brain must've just figured I was done, and they could sit in the dryer. It's just him and me so no biggy. I'll go put them on fluff and get them out later tonight.

Chickens are so tough. It never ceases to amaze me that there survive both extremes of hot and cold without a lot of extra care

In some of those FB poultry groups I used to get so ticked at them in the wintertime if I mentioned we heat our coop..."Chickens can't take temperature changes, so if your electricity goes out, they'll die."

It was 95F today, and 58 tonight. They'll not be dead, trust me lol.

We don't eat out much but there's an Arby's and Kentucky Fried Chicken in town we like to go to usually.

We used to do Arby's a lot. Never again. Junk food for sure now. I think between Covid and the minimum wage debacle a lot of eateries are garbage now. I do do better at our Hardy's than anywhere else in town here. My favorite fast food is still Panda's Express. So much more of menu to choose from. And you can watch them prepare it.
