Yeah, I think I mentioned the Subway here already. That was despicable. Last week we went next door to them at Culvers. We were shocked. I counted 12 employees, and about the same number of customers. The place was spotless and service of course was awesome!We used to do Arby's a lot. Never again. Junk food for sure now. I think between Covid and the minimum wage debacle a lot of eateries are garbage now. I do do better at our Hardy's than anywhere else in town here. My favorite fast food is still Panda's Express. So much more of menu to choose from. And you can watch them prepare it.
Not our Hardy's. It's the best joint in town. I know what the Frisco burger is and it is supposed to come on sourdough bread. Could be they were out of the bread and you got one on a bun. I'd of taken it back for my money right then and there. If it was a lax moment in an employees paying attention to the job at hand it was time to get them straightened out.Hardys suck. Ive only been there a couple times for the years we have lived here. I was overcharged. The meat? was supposed to be angus. I dont think it was even meat. Ordered frisco burger . It was supposed to be on toast. It was buns and they were chewy. IDK what causes that. No more Hardys for me.

There is no factual way to know if it is Angus or not without a dna test and after cooking that may not work. Many years ago I had a club calf that was a relatively new breed in the US and it was developed in the US. Angus and Hereford where the favorite breeds for showing and selling at the county fairs and state fairs. I had one of the new American breeds instead of a English favored breed. Now Granny I was in the 9th grade. Sound familiar?Any way my calf was not allowed to show because they said he was not fat enough. There was a family that bought a calf every year that was not allowed to show. They came back to me and said it was the best beef they had ever eaten. What made it great was the rate of growth and at 11 months of age that calf weighed in at 930 lbs which was some what heavier that a large number of much old calves. Rate of growth and type of feed have more to do with the quality of meat than the color of the hide. I know it is PC to promote straight grass fed beef. I love grass feed beef or at least once did before taste buds go messed up. I liked my beef feed tall grass parts that had the nutrition stored in them. Where to most protein, vitamins, mineral, carbs, etc where stored. Each to their own but I've had both over the years and one of the worst beefs we have had was heavy grain fed and happened to be half Angus. The other was just a mixed breed grass fed steer that was awful.
Not today. Probably will pick again Monday. Not sure the first planted peas left are worth picking. The next planting that was fill in areas that got flooded out will need picking by Tuesday I think. Then the shelling starts up again. Took some pictures of Ma's operation of packing and vacuum sealing them for the freezer today. I will post them tomorrow. I'm beat now.R u pickin peas?
