Granny's gone and done it again

I will admit I watch for products that have citric acid added,a lot of drinks do. Citrus is fine but citric acid added often gives me heart burn
I think there is less citric acid in grapefruit than in oranges. My dad could eat all the grapefruit he wanted but a single orange would give him the belly ache.I think the lemon and lime only have what is natural citric acid in them and not an additive. It seems to be just dehydrated juice to a powdered form. I'm lucky that a very few things bother me at all now. As long as no one comes at me with liver and onions, butterscotch, or canned rutabagas I can wing it.

A really good drink is blueberry celestial tea bags (no acid added) you can soak them in warm or hot water. Can drink iced or hot, sweetener of your choice or unsweetened. Just really, really good.
We are planting a lot more blueberries this coming spring. We might be able to dehydrate the berries and grind to powder and make a nice beverage out of them in the summer months.

Ma and (WE) had a good visit with the Cardiologist today. Spent more time talking chickens that medical stuff. Ma's good and he showed us a video on his phone of his wife in their backyard with their chickens flying up on her. They would not leave her alone. Just had to have some attention. They only have 15 now. I don't keep track of how many we have but the number is dropping again Thursday morning. Not really dropping as they are just moving from a coop to a freezer.
