where does the PB go?

After the oatmeal is cooked I put a big spoonful of it in the bowl with all the other goodies. Sometimes I put nuts like pecans or walnuts in my bowl. Well, peanuts are nuts. Peanut butter is just a creamy version of peanuts!

Actually ... peanuts are not nuts, technically they are more like a bean. But they eat like a nut!

I'm surrounded by both peanut fields and cotton fields. Not going to try and grow my own. Way to much work and manual labor. The big heavy farm equipment that harvests them is unbelievable when they dig them.

And yes they are a legume like a bean and very kin to a bean. Some would call them a bean that has pods underground. If memory is right they send down a stem after pollination above ground for the peanuts to grow and mature below ground.

Isnt that an expensive way to fatten up a pig?

We have some blueberry plants of our own. The Rabbit Eye type. Some can get as large as a quarter in diameter.
