Never heard of that variety. Were the upright or did they have to have a wire trellis?IF I remember right mine are thortons blackberry
Yes. Better everyday. The one that got beat up the worst is taking longer than I like. She is getting spoiled rotten. How are your chicks in the clinic doing? Are they healing?
2x2s in a square frame and driven into the ground should work. Or t-posts maybe?Yes. The ones that grow in snow do not have edible fruit. Mine should bear a full size banana. That is if I got what I paid for. I've been thinking about how to frame them in and make a clear protective cover for them in the winter. Easy to supply just enough heat to keep them from being froze back to ground level.
upright even though I did give them something to climb againstNever heard of that variety. Were the upright or did they have to have a wire trellis?
Need to build it 16 feet high and at least 12'x12' square. They spread from the root making more trees. I started with just one tree and now have 3 in the second year.2x2s in a square frame and driven into the ground should work. Or t-posts maybe?
all of mine are upright but I'm going to run a number 9 (clothes line wire) to support them as when they load up with berries they get real heavy.upright even though I did give them something to climb against
