My SisIL has several banana trees, I think she cuts them bsck snd takes them in the house every winter. Not sure if they're in pots or not, they gey quite big in the summer.2x2s in a square frame and driven into the ground should work. Or t-posts maybe?
Rained pretty good here earlier today, not sure if it's quit or not. I put all the chicken feeders under cover so they could at least eat.I just heard thunder....
I've seen the bananas in the MO boot heel and in SE AR. Yup I think some I've seen there hit 15' high. I think they can be mulched really deep and let the cold kill them back and they grow back every summer from the huge root ball. I never stopped to ask when we traveled a lot from down in AR back to NW MO.My SisIL has several banana trees, I think she cuts them bsck snd takes them in the house every winter.
