I have 4 different varieties of blueberries for good cross pollination. Some were lost due to severe weather. I'll start new plants from the surviving plants. I'll have a dozen back into production then. As they naturally multiply I'll work up to a 100 plants and a whole lot fewer chickens.

My SisIL has several banana trees, I think she cuts them bsck snd takes them in the house every winter. Not sure if they're in pots or not, they gey quite big in the summer.

I just heard thunder....

Rained pretty good here earlier today, not sure if it's quit or not. I put all the chicken feeders under cover so they could at least eat.

My SisIL has several banana trees, I think she cuts them bsck snd takes them in the house every winter. Not sure if they're in pots or not, they gey quite big in the summer.

I've seen the bananas in the MO boot heel and in SE AR. Yup I think some I've seen there hit 15' high. I think they can be mulched really deep and let the cold kill them back and they grow back every summer from the huge root ball. I never stopped to ask when we traveled a lot from down in AR back to NW MO.
