Fawn is Roberts dog and she spends a lot of time with him but she wants to be where the other dogs are.

My chickens will follow only me and sit only in my lap. The puppies also favor me. DH says he thinks it's loyalty, they can't betray me.
Chickens, I find it hard to understand their intelligence. They were by my brother's farm for several months when We moved and it was absolutely obvious they remembered me. They fly up and sit on my shoulder- no one else

They are smarter than people give them credit for. I used to sit and watch them interact and it was pretty amazing to me. Are you the only one that feeds them?

Yes I am, except when they were at my brother's. They used to be my puppies. Even followed me into the house at times- didn't poop in the house but I did get eggs under my bed. We left our door open and had one of the mesh covering like seen on TV with magnets. They figured out how to open it

Nancy gave her GD some farm fresh eggs to take to her mother. She didnt. She has forgotten them in her car. I have to wonder if they are developing? Its been in the upper 80s to 90 and a car gets much hotter.

I started off with Ralph and Norton, named by DH. Ralph liked DH and played like a puppy, seriously. I got them as chicks and a neighbor dog killed her. That was terrible heard on DH. Ralph always climbed out of the fence to last her egg, here she is

Supposed Easter egger but had a single comb. Norton grieved like a human. We had plans to visit DH friend inNew York City so took her along. Put her in a shopping bag to walk past the doorman. Carried her along to Central Park! She peacefully sat in an open box throughout our visit
