Granny's gone and done it again

I never realized there were different types of plecos. I've bought a few over the years and always just said "I need a pleco," and they bagged me up one. Then, in a couple of years, he'd get too big, and I'd trade him for other fish. I think mine were just solid brown with some normalish fins. Wonder why I always called them a "him" though. I'm sure there are girl plecos, right?

I had one like that, @Debbie292d. Bought him as a little guy. He outgrew my aquarium so I tossed him in my pond for the summer. Danged thing was over a foot long next time I saw him. Talk about a growth splurt. Thing looked like a dinosaur. I always wondered how big one could get.

Granny I finally got those Garnets packaged. I'm thinking I should feel well enough to get to the pist office tomorrow. :)
These are the dark. If you look up the stones you will see the Reds and more dark. If these were cut and smoothed you would see the lines in them. These are rough..straight from the ground..so still have some rock on them. View attachment 3901200
I have a rock tumbler.

Farms, it was fortuitous, you showing up when you did. You've been a valuable part of this convo! Very much needed! And appreciated too, I'm sure. :hugs
Yeah just like when the car girl showed up to answer my car question.

Too much bad luck with chronic illnesses with both DH and I. Welfare is good in it's own right. But it's extremely hard to pull yourself 'out of the ditch' because of the rules and regulations. Everytime I think I'm in a good place something comes up again. I thought I was off Crohn's medication. Yayyy! But it didn't last. Now I'm on infusions and they cost a fortune. It's law that everyone has to be able to have insurance... But I found out it's NOT law that it has to be affordable
Or the medicine you need is affordable

Here’s a rock I cut recently.
