Hello! I changed auto/home insurance so gotta get used to a new payment schedule- home is quarterly instead of monthly. But yayyy... I'm saving $100 a month on auto. And property and school taxes are due but they put me on a payment plan...yayyy!
Xfinity sent me a message they are suspending me today cause I'm late in paying. Grrrr I logged in from the email... And then I got a bad feeling. I called them and found out I'm the 6 th person too call and it was spam. I have to change my password. I always pay my bills on time. But today is a head ache

I saw another picture like this on X recently. I think it was in Russia and they had babies, smaller than the one pictured, outside, swaddled in blankets, hats on their heads in rows of cribs outside in the dead of winter for 'fresh air'.

Most of us here are of an age where we remember being in grade school and pushed outside twice a day for recess in winter with snow on the ground and the temps in the basement. We all survived. Drank out of the hose also, licked the spoon mom used to make cake batter with. Nobody ever died from licking a cake batter spoon. That I know of, lol.

Howdy all. Fatigue must be catching or as DH told me this morning. I don't have any more common sense than to work my A Double S off and then pay for it the next day. Yep, can't get mad at him for being truthful and correct.

Did catch critter #3 in the live trap. It was a cat this time. Pretty one. Healthy. Not sure if it is a dump off or belongs to the neighbor across the road. It let us touch it through the live trap wire net so it was tame but when we opened the trap door to see what it would do it backed out and headed for the road. No sign of any net or tarp damage in the run last night so we are going to try to set the trap again tonight and see if it is still around.

We have a sign hanging out in the shop that says, Strays Welcome! Lord are we suckers for punishment.

Think I'll be spending the afternoon stripping mint leaf from stems. Bumper crop of mint this year. have Peppermint, Wintergreen and Spearmint. We are enjoying glasses of mint tea right now.

DH gave me a great tip about this. NEVER click on any link from anything like that you get. Always log in from a saved address you have on your own tool bar. If you click they can either get a virus downloaded on you or finish the spam and get money out of you. Glad you figured it out.

I need to get all the stuff I need for the swap tomorrow pulled together. Picked up some used plywood for my friend, it needs to go on the trip with me. Of course, it has nails sticking out. So hot, i really don't want to go out there. Everything needs water. Feels like 100° out there now. Guess I should make a list.

DH gave me a great tip about this. NEVER click on any link from anything like that you get. Always log in from a saved address you have on your own tool bar. If you click they can either get a virus downloaded on you or finish the spam and get money out of you. Glad you figured it out.

I should have known it. I clicked on it in' the heat of the moment' because I was getting a little anxious as I organized all my bills and it made me mad that they say I didn't pay it. I had used my discover card as an automatic payment.
The insurance I just got is progressive and they sent an email that they still need some signatures. I couldn't figure that out. The insurance I discontinued is State Farm and my account was messed up since April. So I screen shot all their mistakes before my account is deleted. I have this feeling once their tech group gets things updated they will throw a big bill at me. I have a prepaid debit card on file so they can't do an automatic payment from my credit card!

You will be so relieved not to have to care for goats and chickens anymore... But by then weather will start getting cool

I am trying to catch up on things. My sister is visiting from KY. So we have a family gathering planned Sunday at the home farm where my brother and his family live. And they are all excited to see my puppies again! My puppies were born on the same farm I was...50+ years later!! My nephew as the breeder.
