thats a pretty late supper. What did you get for $2.00 ?

A ground beef patty over mashed potatoes, corn, cinnamon apples for dessert. Not a lot but enough when you are way past tired and ready to fire up and cook. We buy about 10 of the less than $2 dinners at a time for nights like these. I know that there are better and more expensive TV dinners but we don't need them when we are this tired out. We may get a few that would be more like a restaurant meal if we see some like that. I've never had a TV dinner that was a lot better than our little emergency dinners. I'd like to find some good Chinese, Mexican, etc dinners that would rival the restaurants. No tip required too.

We lived not far south of Cocoa for awhile. Ran up and down the east coast once upon a time fixing irrigation system for one of the box store lumber yards before they closed down.

Duncan Hines mskes some pretty good shelf-stable dinners, have you tried those? They are usually just a meat and potatoes or meat snd pasta, but good for a quick sback, microwaveable kind of deal. Find them on the pasta aisle. DH takes them for lunch.
