This fridge cooled off in 2 hrs instead of 4 and a half hrs as the last one did. Food back in. Eater pitcher filled up and water running. Now, let's see if we get ice. We should.
Granny, the guy sent me a message saying he's working me into his loop. It shouldn't take them long. Hrs..I'm thinking. Not a day or two.

I've never had respite care but I've had relatives and friends that used it. I know they really benefited from it. It all depends on the care the person needs on what so they will do to help. I've only ever heard good things. It pains me to see what Granny is going through right now.
I've not had respite care for DH but We've had help. When you are weary, scared and can't hardly see your way through life's fog, having help brings immeasurable relief. I'm amazed how kind these caregivers are... They become personal friends
Edit: we had home health care but not respite

Chicken cacciatore, finishing in the oven. I made too many thighs (10) to fit in my Dutch oven to simmer on the stove. Had to use the biggest casserole dish I have, lol. This is actually a pottery item my late ex gave me as a gift, I never use it, it's huge. Glad to have it tonight. Smells delish, have never had it before. Lots of mushrooms and tomatoes! Can't wait!

how do you keep the food from falling out of the pan that way ??
