Granny's gone and done it again

I don't think we will try to grow as much corn next year and just plan on buying it in the tubes cream style and add our poblano peppers to it as we cook it. We just don't have enough freezer space. We do have some home canned corn this year to test and if it works we will grow 4 long rows of one kind so it will come in all at once and we can get the job done and over with.

Peaches and cream! The sweetest corn I know. I grew it once and I'd go out in the heat of the day and eat it raw and young right out in the garden. So good! :drool Didn't even need butter.

Granny I hope that you are resting and not in as much pain today as yesterday. These damaged ribs are not fun to deal with and we both know it. I'm beginning to wonder If the one I cracked or broke last November will ever heal. Anyway I hope we see some more of you tomorrow. Not sure how much I'll be around. Doc appointment tomorrow. One of those wellness checks where we go in and the ask us a bunch of questions and the insurance company gives us $10 or $15 each for doing it. I think they are trying to save money by preventing home accidents and the like as well as make sure our pneumonia and shingles shots are up to date. It's to early for a flu shot. Goodnight now and be careful how you put your feet down. Don't trip over one of the furry pets.
