I slept very little last night. I'm going to lay back down until lunch time and then see what I can get done outside. Our temp is supposed to stay below 90° today.

Howdy Howdy everybody.

We have a heat advisory tomorrow. 90 when it's 112 in Abilene sounds like a chilly day. It's only 76 here right now but we had rain showers pass through earlier along with clouds and it's keeping the temp down.

Yesterday DH and I went down and whittled some more off of Big Bertha. So far we have harvested 15 tractor buckets full of wood off of her and have a sizeable pile to show for our hard work in the barn. This on top of the 17 cords we already have stuffed in there. Good thing we don't have animals living in there.

Did two loads of laundry then decided to start mowing with the gas mower trying to get a jump on the finishing work before DH could run the tractor with the 3 point hitch mower over the yard. Then helped DH change the transmission/hydraulic fluid in the big tractor. Got done in time to make dinner.

Then I get up this morning and wonder why I'm so stiff sore and tired. Still can't figure it out this afternoon, LOL.

I've done nothing today but work on a design for a small muscadine vineyard. 20 vines. Smallest size of the fruit is 1" in diameter and the largest is 1 1/2" in diameter. Most vines produce around 60lbs when mature. Blacks, Reds, and Bronze.
