they made me sign a contract

A contract maybe from going to another doc for the same treatment for pain but not for having surgery and treatment for the surgery's pain. It that doc says so then tell her you need an attorney and she better have a good one.

I'm to wound up and fired up that a pain mgt doc would try and tell some one a hospital can't treat them for pain caused by a surgery. That is just not so.

But, whoever the surgeon is..would. Pretty sure.

They will give you a pain block in hosp. You won't feel anything for a day ot two.

pain clinic will fire me if I accept pills from someone else.

I don't believe they can do that for Pain mgmt after a surgery. The surgeon just needs to know what you are already taking so they csn coordinate stuff.

Wish my meds would start working. Not even 600 mgs of gabapentin and 100 mg of trammadol, muscle relaxer are phasing me tonight. I think I missed the Melatonin.

Larry's right, they don't want patients shopping doctors to get pain meds from more than one doctor. Surgery is a whole different thing.

I just found out it costs nothing to get NPIP cerified in Missouri. I may do that.

Morning all, not much sleep. Pain is terrible. Pain Dr made it very clear that I cannot accept meds from any other Dr. Tom and I have Dr appt w. primary today at 2. I hope I can drive.
