No, but I turned a set of green pumpkins upside down to get the dust and chips of clay out, and all 3 came unstuck from the base! I had taken time to put underglaze on them too. Ugh!

Who knew? Eye Dr told me I have a cataract and it came from steroid use.

Splenda is made from real sugar. I have to watch the glucose levels and I drink my tea a little bit sweetened. I never understood why saccharine was considered a sweetener. It is bitter. My grandmother used it for decades. She finally got old and passed on in her 90's so it didn't harm her.

Maybe she might have lived to 110!

My cherry tree is dying. I'm thinking a vole may be eating on the roots. It has not grown at all this summer. Leave are curling up and turning yellow. Crispy.

yep, Mike bottle raised Linus. Pebble's refused to open her mouth even with "gentle" persuasion. And she'd freak out with us in to much control/her immobilized.

Could you put some milk in her mouth with a turkey baster?

Yes. Spread well in a circle out from the base of the tree and not enough to burn it. The tree is about 7' tall now. What worries me about the place where it is planted is that every fruit tree planted there dies. All the peaches and nectarines. Same trees on the other side of the driveway thrive with same culture. It got well watered to. I grew really well to where is now and then the leave turned yellow and started to curl up. I can't help but think there is a tree virus of some kind here as well as the tomato virus strains.

My cataracts came with age. I was about 60-63 when mine developed. Doc said nothing about steroid use and I had taken some for a severe cough off and on along with 2-3 steroid injections in my shoulder.

Hi all!!!! I know I’m not supposed to be worrying anymore because it’s pointless because it always turns out fine BUT I’m so scared for my appointment tomorrow!!!! I have real reason to worry too because I don’t see her very often so it makes it that much more important. I have to ask her some questions too. I’m just overall very nervous. I’m going to ask about a potential medication too. That’s one of the questions.
