@BigBlueHen53 it got up to 75 here today. I think DH said it was 37 when he got up this morning. I'm ready for fall but 37 is too much wintery for my liking.

Absolutely. I saw him in a dream a year before we met. And he was spooked when he first saw me, because he'd seen me in a dream about three months before we met, too. Definitely a God thing. He didn't want anyone in his life. He was planning to die. But God had other plans.

I met my husband 10 days before Christmas. My mother had died 6 years earlier and my father's health had deteriorated to the point with his dementia that I couldn't take care of him at home any longer.

I was prepared to spend Christmas alone for the first time in my life at the age of 52. Totally devastated. Then we met. I tell him every Christmas when he asks me what I would like that he was my best Christmas gift ever. Anything else is just icing on the cake.

Honey, go in to the ER. You can go for pain management. I've done it when I had impacted wisdom teeth. Tell them you are in too much pain to manage and bring your current prescriptions so they can sort out compatibilities and that way they won't think you're a seeker. Sometimes they just give you a shot.

Does your health insurance offer any medical transport? Ours does, time to time Mom has used it, but she has to call a couple days in advance. This year they started sending lyft drivers instead of the older services.

Today's bread turned out awesome! I added a tiny bit of wheat germ and ground flax seed. An egg wash on top just before baking gave it a lovely brown finish, and it's delicious.
