Would you believe its been 23 years ago?

That's the year I got married. I still remember where I was.
I thought it was the beginning of the world coming to an end, ie, the end of the world was eminently nearer than we had previously thought and now it's still continuing.

Just woke up, so much pain...

I was up early and got the pet coop to where they could wander and get under shelter when needed. The rest of the coops are large ones with few inhabitants so they remain in lockdown during foul weather like we will be having all day long today. I can make a feed run for them just after 10 and the window for doing it is only about an hour. I'm going to lay back down until 9:30. Ma's had a rough night with little sleep. I got up at 6:30 and she was already having breakfast. She is sound asleep now in her chair. I just can't sleep sitting up like she does.

Granny I hope you have a better day today with the help you have coming in. For a few years Ma did the kind of nursing job to where she was doing house calls like you are getting now. Soon after she got elevated to serious wound care like the wound vac care mentioned earlier. Even people who literally had holes in their bodies. Don't OD on the coffee. Drink some water. Hope your Magic Mouth Wash helps. That's the name for the Swish and Spit stuff you have. I like the Swish and Swallow better for the help it gives anything in the esophagus.

Larry, I hope your chickens will all be safe from the storm! Can you throw a map up with a dot showing your approx location so we can keep an eye on you as the storm passes?

Hubs…was trimming cabinets and didn’t even bother to close the top of the coffee maker. Soooo that’s an unusable mess for a hot minute

Does this mean the coffee pot got full of sawdust? Yikes! I'd be "feeling some kind of way" about this, and not in a good way.
