This is what I used my Mandavilla for as a stage prop for photographing birds. Meet Jezebel. She was so mean to all of the other birds that came in for being photographed.

We have a local orchard that allows upick for some of their fruits, so on Saturday we went and picked a bushel of apples . Snack time!

Way back when we lived in the northside burbs of Detroit we too went and picked fresh fruit. All I ever remember picking was peaches. Apples are about to get ripe down here now and I want 2 bushels. Some for making apple-muscadine preserves and some for apple sauce and some for fresh eating mixed banana, apple, & peanut butter. Ma is know for skillet cooking apples and cinnamon too. I'm sure she will make apple chips in her dehydrator to go with banana chips and peanuts in a trail type mix. No doubt that she will even make an apple/banana bread if I petition here just right.

When we do get our apples we will also need a big container of raisins and cinnamon to go in an apple cake.

My dad made pesto and put it on a tomato with mozzarella cheese and balsamic drizzle lol sooooo good lol
