Granny's gone and done it again

I've had two heart ablations, speaking of ablations. Didn't work.
It's because of the surgery that I can move my head around. Most of what you explained in pain was me, except the sneeze! Ouch. Putting my arm up helped, thank the heavens.
I have a son that had his lower back done. His pain was so bad he had to lay on the floor, could hardly get up. Interesting thing, an Orthopedic Surgeon did his. It turned out ok but I'm not having anyone but a Neurosurgeon go near my spine.
I'll have to try the arm over the head thing the next time lightning strikes my left arm again.

Since I hurt my right shoulder I've been using my left hand to help raise it up so I can comb my hair in the morning. About the only way to keep it from hurting if I want to raise my hand over my head.

As for titanium, my wedding band is titanium. A fellow bicyclist who makes titanium bike parts made it for us. Hospital ERs hate them. Very hard to cut off in the event of an injury. I love it. Never scratches and no impurities that makes me have allergic reactions to metal. (I've tarnished gold in the past) If I ever hurt that hand/finger they'll just have to cut off my finger to remove the ring and then sew it back on again. Seriously. Ain't nobody cuttin' off my wedding ring!

Speaking of that, did y'all know how to get a tight ring off a swollen finger? Get the flat elastic band off a surgical mask. Stick one end under the ring from the top down so you have enough to grab ahold of coming out the bottom near your palm then stretch out the long end and wrap it tightly around your finger up past your middle knuckle. Secure the elastic near the tip of your finger with a piece of tape then grasping the short end of the elastic that is under the ring, slowly begin to 'unwind' the elastic from the bottom up by pulling gently downward on it. The ring should slowly begin to slide up your finger, past your middle knuckle.
Hope I explained that right. I tried it once and it does work.
