Granny one a hurricane get over land with no warm water to feed it it starts dying rapidly. It takes rising warm water vapor to keep them powered up.

I keep reading that the full moon is making the tide worse. We had floods at the Farmers market where we are at 3 x in a row last summer. It's in a flood zone and the full moon is a good predictor of the building flooding during a storm

You can ask them for music if the noise bothers you.

Or just earplugs..they always give you those.

It actually is. You'll stay in for both.
I always like the guy or gal to talk to me in-between sets. I don't fall asleep so that's good for me.

I usually do doze off during MRIs. I like the noise, the clanging reminds me of the time when I lived in a motel next to a train track and right near a highway. I never slept so good!

I miss the old style noisy MRI machines. They sounded like you were taking a trip into outer space watching for aliens.

Prayers for thise that have needed to evacuate because of the biggest surge in decades. I can't imagine what they'll come home to.
Sounds like all of my friends here are safe from real damage.
I have a cousin that lives in Florida. She's pretty close to the west side, mid state. Should be a bit better.
