Heavier than a leghorn and lighter than rocks and Wyandotes. I'll look it hope. I recently read it. They are supposed to kick out 290 eggs a year which is my only worry.

I must have been reading about another newer breed and confused that with the Sapphire Gems.

I have never had experience with Hoover are they a good company ?

My understanding is they are basically blue Rocks.

I've been fairly happy with them. I believe they are the suppliers for TS C. I lost my first batch of chicks last November bc they got shipped around Veteran's Day and got stranded en route due to the holiday. PO's fault, not Hoover's. They sent me a new batch and we ALMOST ran into the same issue due to Thanksgiving! But the second batch arrived alive.

FINALLY I am caught up.

So the evictiee cost me yet another 130.00 today. 80 for a court date and then I had to have her served with the court date papers and such so another 50 bucks for that. Adding it on to what she already owes me.

Star has shots tomorrow the distemper bundle and something else.

Supposed to be in the 70's to 80's again the rest of the week. Still no frost OR moisture have been under a server fire/burn ban for over a week.
