Granny's gone and done it again

I bought the pill pockets before. Dogs wouldn't touch them. I fold the pills in a slice of cheese and give the first bite w/o pills then they swallow the next one down

We're expecting our first frost tomorrow but it should be in the 70's later in the day, and maybe 80's later in the week.

I wrap Sammy's in cheese. I've always been able to pill a dog pretty well but he spits them out, it seems no matter how far down his gullet I shove them! But he would swallow an anvil if I wrapped it in cheese, lol.

Brewster always spits it out even wrapped in cheese but I’ve never tried the giving him one without pills first thing. I still don’t think it will work though. He’s SMART LOL

Yup, I think he ate maybe two pill pockets and after that he was like, yuck. I use shredded cheese and just use the heat of my hand to shape it into a bolus around the pill(s). I can sometimes get him to take 2 or 3 pills at a time in one cheese ball. He loves Tillamook cheddar so sometimes I'll give hime a little square of that first, then the Rx cheese ball. Snick, snack, snorum, down the hatch!
