Gorgeous clouds @Cynthia12. We need rain badly here. only 2.7 inches all month and everything is dry.
Well my day turned to crap after waking up feeling pretty good and energetic this morning. Went into the bathroom to take down some dry clothes from the little drying rod I have in there and put my hand on a paper wasp that I didn't see sitting on a coat hanger. How it got in there I have no idea. Little rat stung me a good one on the palm of my hand between my first two fingers. I carry an Epi-Pen for bad reactions to yellow legged wasp stings so I had no idea how I'd react to a paper wasp sting. So far so good. Hurts naturally and is red and puffy but other than a brief headache no bad reactions.
DH hunted the little fiend down and smashed him a good one.
We have a lot of puppy mills here amongst the Amish community. That's where our 5 rescued cattle dog pups came from. Not so much a puppy mill but a puppy mill wanna be. Lots of Amish see raising pups as being an easy money maker. I do know families who have little dogs as pets but the majority have pups to sell at one point or another. Breaks my heart to see sweet dogs treated like live stock. Missouri does have laws in place to control the mills and I do think they have cracked down on them. But there are always loop holes to be used.
