I didn't have credit cards until I was growing credit to buy a house. Before that I got a prepaid credit card (bluebird) from Walmart. However much I wanted to spend, I gave the money to Walmart and they added it to the card. It can't bounce and you can only spend what is on the card.

Is he a prime member? It's worth being a prime member of you order from Amazon frequently. I don't pay for cable but then I stream Amazon video for DH to watch football right now (not all year). That makes me a member.

When that happens to me I close BYC without logging out, then open it back up. That usually fixes it.

Have them check shipping dates. On Amazon you pay to get it quicker, but if you can wait a couple days, it'll ship free. Also, Amazon keeps saying they are giving me a 30-day trial membership of Prime free so I've been getting free shipping for months. I won't pay for it, even for a trial, I've heard it's almost impossible to get rid of.

That's a good way to build credit, I think. We'll probably have GC do that. And The Kid, too. He's so much smarter about money than she is.

I never give then a credit card. Only prepaid cards. That way if you want to get rid of them, there's just no money there

Maybe he should. You can get just about anything from there and he might save on the shipping. Worth looking into anyway. I shop there a lot.

So did I. Went to the zoo with my eleven month old grandson and family. Place was packed for Boo at the zoo. Bout walked my legs off. And in all the commotion, not once did I hear anyone having a cross word with another. Just people enjoying themselves
