Granny's gone and done it again

When it comes to freedom of expression, I'm not a 'politically correct' type of person. When I laugh, it's not always the circumstance- sometimes I am amused at the way somebody says something.
For instance, if Granny says she has the squirts, I don't laugh because she isn't feeling well but I may find it amusing that she would say it like that.

That's what attracted me to this thread, Granny's openness and humor at things she should be upset about but she can make light of it.

I also love the Dean Martin Roasts and their light heartedness without having to use 'politically correct' speech.

If I offend people so much that they need to question why I laugh, maybe I was wrong about this thread.

I'm guessing she didn't mean anything negative. You have to know Blue..she will apologize that it came out wrong somehow.

evening all. At the moment's tally of baking and such.

125 dozen (1500) cookies
7 batches of carmels
30 pounds of fudge
6 batches of peanut brittle
2 double batch of baked beans. (one more double to do)

I am beat not so much from the cooking but dealing with random idiots.

Need to go cleanup the roaster and implements from the beans as they are all in containers to finish cooling before being lidded and stashed in a freezer somewhere.

I you don't take care of yourself and heal up you won't be able to take care of Tom and you'll both end up in the hospital or a home.

You are NOT being selfish by taking care of yourself.

they did that to my Aunt. To visit her you had to

1) be outside
2) sit 6 feet apart
3) wear a mask
4) have a sheet of plexiglass between you
5) NO touching of any kind

BUT it was OK for her roommate to have covid.
