YoungSir (formerly The Kid) is taking his ACT test tomorrow. He's fine. I'm a nervous wreck, lol! He's excited, in fact and can't wait to kick butt in the math portion!

Granny, you need to go to the director of nursing along with the social services office and tell them what happened. Lodge a complaint, raise hell if you have to but make them listen. That is totally unprofessional behavior on the part of that nurse and all involved and something I would have never done to the family of one of my residents.

All involved should be disciplined. Totally unacceptable behavior.

Okay, this is too weird. Maybe I need to increase my Gabapentin? I'm only taking one 300mg at night now. The last couple of days I've had this extremely odd and very unpleasant sensation. Hard to describe but ... very sudden, very cold, almost painful feeling on the right side of my head, in the temple, ear, face area ... as if I've been hit on the side of the head with a large, icy snowball! It makes me jump, gasp out loud and grab the side of my head. It just happened again and I'm just lying here in bed. Anybody ever experience anything like this before? WHATIZZIT?!?

It's a call to the Dr. !! pinched nerve maybe? Who knows. It's worth getting checked out
