Granny's gone and done it again

:frow Havent done anything today but so very tired and in pain.
On top of your own health challenges you have been dealing with more than you should have to deal with. My mother used to say that the good Lord never puts more on your shoulders than you can carry but she wished the good Lord would stop having more confidence in her shoulders than she had.

You know, @BigBlueHen53, I don't see any reason why you couldn't gently clean around those sutures on the pupster if he will tolerate it. When Diesel and Varn had their ear sutures the vet did an excellent job of cleaning them up afterwards. And it's S.O.P to use Vaseline on sutures now if there isn't any sign of infection.

Thanks, chick, I'll do that tomorrow. The blood is attracting Ryder who is driving Sammy nuts although the Vicks is helping. Ryder's not licking, just sniffing and pestering. Ugh, puppies! I'm sure the Vaseline will help a ton!

Been doing it for years. The house seems so empty. I'm missing all the little things that drives me nuts. I would be lying if I said Im not enjoying this time off and Im afraid I wont be able to take care of him when he does come home but wanting him home trumps all that

One dog club, one church and one dog friend. I believe no more parties til Christmas Eve.
Did they have full meals or what was it like? I've never been to a party except for kids Bday partys (which I hated) and I used to cook holidays for family and a couple friends

We spoke and bore testimony today. Poor Bronwyn didn't make it. She woke up with a fever last night and was throwing up off and on through the morning. When I got up she was in the kitchen, hears me coming down the hall, asks, can I have that sprite in the fridge? She was so pale. I say of course. Asked what was going on. I offered her a pepto, pill or chewable..she took a chewable. Austin and I made it to church, another brother in the Bishopric spoke in her place. This was our goodbye to this ward. Love these people..will miss them. I got pretty emotional. Austin too.
Off to new adventures and good folks I'm sure.
Bronwyn is feeling much better. 24 hr. thing I guess.

We had our church party last weekend. Austin and Bronwyn were in charge this year. They had soups brought in from a real nice place. Rolls too. There was a sign up sheet for sides and desserts. Good food!

Well the dog club was potluck. The club bought a ham but it wasn’t needed. So much good food, a lot people actually prepared homemade food. Or brought very good items to eat. Shrimp, mixed nuts, all kinds of desserts,
Church was a buffet meal, lots of good food, ham again, prob 20 kinds of scalloped potatoes, green salad with a yummy homemade dressing. I am hoping to get the recipe.
Then today friends party, ham again, I brought sweet potatoe casserole. It was fun, just visited and talked a lot about dogs.

Sorry she is sick, maybe she is pregnant? Good thing you are getting a bigger house.
