Granny's gone and done it again

Wow that’s alot
We've been providing two hours of supplemental light every evening since they finished moting, from 5 to 7 p.m. They've increased from about 3 eggs a day, gradually to 9, their highest so far. Sometimes we get 6 or 7. We have 19 female birds but some are older and may not be laying.

I always supplemented light. Some say it lessons the years of laying. Not sure.

I don't see why it should, but I could be wrong. If humans died when we used up all our eggs, there would be no post-menopausal women, would there?
