Granny's gone and done it again

Our stomachs must know one another, Blue. I'm amazed that my stomach is letting me sample my cookies without kicking up a fuss. usually, it's chicken, baked fish, green beans, beets or spinach and potatoes. Been like that for 3 years now. A friend asked me a couple years ago if she could talk me into going out to eat and I told her she could talk all she wanted by my stomach would not let me eat restaurant food. She just didn't understand.

No rain here. Just damp and cold. Think they are calling for wet snow up here over night.

DH had to have a procedure earlier this summer. 135,000 dollar bill. VA insurance paid 37,000. Hospital wrote off the rest. They didn't expect to get more than that but they charged that much knowing that. Problem with the US health care system isn't the quality of the care, it's some of the best in the world, it's the flippin insurance companies. IMHO, herd em all up, run em off a cliff. Prices would drop for health care faster than you can say appendicitis. In my husband's practice it was customary for us to write off over 1/3 of our profit thanks to the insurance companies. DH said, I went into private practice so I would work for myself. Then found out I was working for the insurance companies...had to make them a living also along with his own. They are nothing but a big old Ponzi scheme.
Won’t see me disagreeing with this.

Well. Hubs starts a new job in the new year. What the hours or pay will be are to be determined. This should be interesting…

Sweet dreams, Granny, sorry I missed ya. We were getting home, bringing stuff in, etc. Plus it's trash night. Hope you sleep well and I'll see you tomorrow.

Don't know what's causing the tremors but it's not Parkinson's, my dr tells me. Don't remember if he said it was essential tremors or not. I'm going to have to start taking notes, I guess. It's worse some times than at others, and always worse in my left hand. Maybe just fatigue from holding my phone all day, BYC'ing! 😆
I get them in my neck/head. You know, the old lady head shake. Not hard or often..yet. When I lay down it will do it harder for a few seconds. Weird. Not something I'm going to the doc for though. I just googled, old people head shake. lol

Well then. Just looked up head shaking again.. Essential tremors. Some treatments are BP meds. Guess what some causes are? BP meds. 🤪
Also caffeine or lack of B12, strokes and~long covid.
Can't win for losing. Essential tremors are sometimes called senile tremors because you mostly see it in older folks but can start as a youth.
I have a son in law that has had multiple brain surgeries because of a tumor, removed. His hands shake. He'll have bad days where his whole body shakes.
My son with Spina Bifida has shakey hands. Some days worse than others also.
