Granny's gone and done it again

IT has been a bit$% of a week and my patience is shot.

OH and forgot about another idiot who popped a breaker to his room Tues evening I asked what "extra" he had added to the room. Also flipped the breaker back. Then the SOB calls me on the night service phone at 12:45 am to say the breaker tripped again. Told him tuff nuts as I was NOT getting out of bed, getting dressed to reset it at that time BUT would do it in the morning. Keep in mind this is a 20 amp breaker and has never tripped before. FUNNY how it hasn't tripped since weds morning.
WTH? Is wed. when he left?

:gigI wish we could get fiber-optic cable out here, but ... if we ever did then that would mean it had gotten all crowded and citified around us, and heaven knows we don't want THAT. I'm real happy with StarLink, much faster and more reliable than Hughes (cough) but much cheaper, so ... I'll take it. Can you believe that over the years this house has accumulated five (I think) antennas, three on the roof and two cemented into the front yard, each time from companies claiming to be better, faster and cheaper? Why can't my roof just be the antenna? Lol.
Trust me we are 7 miles from the nearest town and 16 from the nearest city on a gravel road with
5 houses in a. Mile + stretch of road. The only citified thing about this area is the rural water system we are on. We say we moved here because the gravel road keeps the townies in town.
and not out sightseeing.

This is actually happening in this area thanks to some big government grant to bring high speed internet to rural Missouri. Guess they figured that it was a high priority item for the local Amish.:gig

We were considering star link but the cost !
Made us groan. Guy hooking up the system today said it was better than Hughes net but not as fast as fiber optic.

have them out at the farm as well BUT still no cell service go figure.
Yeah I hear you. We are on the fringe with both U.S cellular and Verizon. We can only get U.S.to come in if we stood in the middle of the posture. Verizon was a tad better but we had to get a signal booster for it to work well in the house.
