Granny's gone and done it again

I have a pair of Satin Silkies we named Romeo and Juliet. They got put out early this morning for a day of R&R before the rainy weather sets in in the morning. They were by a coop right before dark. When I went out to get them so they could be put back in their Sun Room coop (Kennel) they were no where to be found. Finally I heard a cheep out of Juliet and she came to my flashlight. She was no where near where she had been with Romeo. I finally found Romeo on the opposite side of the house all by himself. I guess all is well that ends well.

42 now and pouring rain. At least its not snow or ice.

FB memories 4 yrs ago. I was just talking about this.
We might of got a little snow. LOL I just seen the plow go by. I find that hilarious ! Hahahaa
Why ? Because Robert and I decided to go to town. In 45 mins it dumped a good 4 inches of snow, thats why. Some rain mixed in just for good measure. I was crawling home and I knew my road would be bad but had I known it was that bad I would of gotten a motel in town. We are lucky to be alive. First time I slid I ended up going it the complete opposite direction and 2 trucks stopped. First guy tells me to stay in the middle of the road and he thinks I will make it. Very nice man. Second truck says Did you sh** yourself? I said no, I just forgot something in town and decided to go back. LOL So I went down a little way and found what I thought to be a drive way and pulled in to turn around. Backing up I got stuck and Robert was able to push us back to the road. Then it was time for The hill! Going down was easy, getting back up not so much. I could see my house I just couldnt manage to make the van go that way. I tried for a while then Robert got out and started walking home. He came back w/ the coal shovel and started shoveling that whole dang hill. He fell and cracked his knee. I would go 2 ft forward and 4 back. Robert kept telling me I needed a running start but I just couldnt do it.
After an hr a marine came to my rescue He was telling me how to make the hill and I got out of the van and motioned for him to get in. He did! 2nd try he made it all the way to the house and there I stood. Bottom of a hill freezing to death. I started walking and my heart started skipping. Robert got me to the house but not before I got me some hugs. Robert ended up bringing everything in and Tom put it all away while I was busy barfing. I am still trying to get warm .
I remember that. Sure don't seem like 4 years.
