Roberts thought of the day: If eggs are so high right now why isn't chicken?

Don't you think they have freezers full of chicken from 2 years ago that they are thawing and selling? I've gotten partially thawed ones sold as fresh at the store

Yesterday DH was going to get a couple groceries for me. Before leaving home he asked me to remind him to get tea bags for himself. I texted him what I want.
At the store he called me
DH: What did you want?
Me :I told him again
DH: I wanted something too, I know it started with a t but I can't remember what it is
Me: Tea
DH: I know it started with a t. But what is it?
Me: tea bags
DH sheepishly: don't laugh

I never laugh at his expense but he did see humor so I may too!

I'm finished filling in blanks. Now I want to organize my papers. Then I need to give the puppies a bath. They smell like puppies and that's offensive to DH. They get a full bath about once a month. Certain parts get washed more frequently

I don't do taxes. Not even when when Robert was a little. I guess on SS you don't need to. At least that's what I was told. I'm trying to make some phone calls today. Just made a grocery list and the boys are off. It was snowing pretty good earlier. Brandon said the roads weren't all that great. He brought Robert a nice looking air fryer. It was new. I guess it was giving to him and he already had one. This thing even dehydrates. I said great! Another item in the torture chamber.

The verdict is still out on the new program Extracted. It is not a survival series. It's an intense game show. If you miss a couple shows you are going to be left in the dark as to what's going on. I don't think I will continue watching it but If nothing else is on then all bets are off!

46 degrees colder at 6 PM today than it was the same time yesterday. Gonna hit 9 degrees tonight. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Amarillo was going to get that cold but not here. This week is the 4th anniversary of the big Texas freeze when everyone was losing their electric and some 200 plus soles were lost. Crazy thing is they say we'll be in the 80's Monday and Tuesday next week.

50° now. Tomorrow night and Thursday night it is not going to be nice here. Unless you are dressed in 7 layers of goosedown.
