Granny's gone and done it again

While at the doc in the morning I'm asking for a referral to a specific neurologist that a nurse we now has care for his after surgery patients. She has advised that he has the best track record for neck and back. My neck is what is generating the shoulder pain. A DO showed be that during an exam by pushing down on the top of my head and that made fire in my shoulder. He specializes in neck and back surgery but his patients don't fare well. It helps to have good contacts for pertinent knowledge.

If his track record sucks why do you want to see him?

lt's the DO that has a poor track record. The Neuro I want to see has an excellent track record. The DO is excellent at hip injections though and I need him for that. Doctors are like tools in a toolbox. The right tool for the right job is important.
