Food Eating GIF by SpongeBob SquarePants

Went food shopping for DH. Hospitals aren't restaurants, they can't cater to every patients needs. Once you've got a platter, that's what you get. He needs 6 small meals a day and soft foods that he doesn't choke on. I got him sippy and microwaveable soups, cereal, pudding, yogurt etc and a supply of ensure. The Dr said the fluid in his legs is from low levels of albumin
His fluids are leaking into his tissue. She said he needs to be eating
I just got home from trekking across 3 counties and I will be lazy the rest of the day.
His Dr said they will do conference calls with me.

They let you bring your own food in? I don’t think they do here lol

Done outside for the day. Managed to get over half way finished with a nesting box that will support 6-8 hens depending on size of the hens and how often they lay. I'm building some like I've never seen before. I want a few nest boxes that are made for just one hen. If a hen goes broody in it I can put a simple enclosure around it and keep her protected and it will be large enough that she can get off the nest every day without another hen messing with her eggs or claiming her spot. I think I can line these modular nests up a few feet up and merely set a broody in a nest down to ground level straight down so there is not big variance in surroundings. Once down on the ground I should be able to move her nest a couple of feet at the time inside the enclosure. I'm bound and determined to have some broody hens with chicks to spoil grand kids with.

I can go down to the cafeteria and get him food to. He's on a low fat diet in the hospital. He hasn't been seen by a dietician to order the ensure, and soft foods. His Dr corrected some of his food orders. Last evening he got a plate of al dente spaghetti and Sprite. That's it. Chili beans for lunch. None of what he could eat. The nurse herself went downstairs to get chicken noodle soup and turkey on white bread. The kitchen isn't stocking the nurse station. They don't mind if I bring food. I know his diet.
