Granny's gone and done it again

same here. I was in horrible pain afterwards. They fill you full of air so they can see better and didn't take mine back out. You cant fart it out. It has to be slowly absorbed by the tissue.

That's the one in the stomach right? I have a huge one.
They have to get the abscess drained and healed before they can do the gallbladder.

So every night we go to bed about 7 pm, and we read until about 9, then it's lights out. He goes to sleep and I come to BYC. Well, about 7:30 I got up to get something, and put my right foot on the floor first, as one does when one sleeps on the right side of the bed. And as I started to put weight on it, my knee made this loud SNAP noise, I felt excruciating pain, and down I went with a scream! I was eventually able to pull myself back up onto the bed. I took two Tylenol and a Tizanidine, got the knee brace on it and slept through the night. Just before 8 a.m., I called the local ambulance service and had them come get me. Because there was no way on God's good green earth I was going to get out of the basement without professional help. They took me to the ER in Poplar Bluff, where I got a shot of morphine (thank You, Jesus!), they x-rayed my knee and told me I had no broken bones, which I already knew. There is no MRI service available on weekends so the told me to follow up with my primary ASAP, wrote me a RX for Tramadol and booted me out the door. So I don't know yet if I have a busted ACL and won't until I get another MRI. Now understand, I just had x-rays and an MRI yesterday! Is my insurance co. going to love me! Oh, I'm sure! ☹️
Anyway, my dear GC came and got me (it's Sabbath and DH was scheduled to preach) and somehow I managed to get up the steps to the house, no mean feat, I assure you! I will be residing in the recliner in the living room for the forseeable future. Fortunately we have all the necessary implements left over from my late MIL's hip replacements: walker, wheelchair, bedside commode. I cannot touch this foot to the ground without unbearable pain. GC will be taking care of all the critters, including the chickens, and cooking. I had already made arrangements with a lady from church to come help with housekeeping. So I guess all bases are covered. I just feel ... pretty darn useless.
I'm so sorry!! I hope they get you in quickly for a diagnosis so you can get treatment! Prayers for a quick recovery!

Oh No Blue! That sounds terrible. Didn't your DH help you back in the bed? Do you know what the first MRI showed? Im so sorry.
There was nothing he could do to help me. I had to stand on my good leg and belly-flop onto the bed, then scooch into position. He's very helpful! But this I had to do on my own.

Thank you so much. :hugs

Thanks, Shrek. :hugs
