If you went to a different ER that does have the MRI I think you could get it done that way. I had the torn ACL or whatever its called. They used anchors in me so they can never come out. It was a failed surgery according to the surgeon. I wore the boot for a solid year minus a couple breaks from it. He left me crippled for life.
I thought your surgery was in your foot, your Achilles tendon, not your knee?

No, the ACL is in the knee.
Anterior Cruciate Ligament. Common sports injury. But I swear I was not playing soccer or hockey at the time!
