Granny's gone and done it again

I was in the hospital yesterday, stayed at the hotel for the night and back today. Don't think DH will be home before next week. Its only 2 weeks but it feels endless.
He needs the expertise of his GI at this hospital. Somewhere along the years, we failed to teach too many of our young people to work diligently. These young people now have children with jobs...
It brings back memories of my coworkers when I worked in the hospital. Where did we fail?
The officer yesterday said we failed when we decided our officers need to play ball with the youth to gain their respect and lose their fear of officers. That was one failure....
Without going in details, another patient cornered DH in his room yesterday. Seeing a big man cry is as heart breaking as seeing a child cry. I arrived only after it happened and they had moved him to another room and were trying to smooth over what happened
It is the second incident the supervisors apologized to him about.
The nurses were negligent in keeping this patient out of his room day after day.
I will try to get it out of my mind and let the officer take care of the rest ...
I am so sorry. What in the world is going on?

The officer said police and people in charge are all afraid of getting sued. Even if it's someone with mental health problems you have to prove they are a threat to society or themselves before they can be put in a room by themselves. However the hospital was aware it was happening....
Lately there was a situation at York hospital (nearby) while there was a hostage situation going on at UPMC. I'm not quite sure of the details. I'm trying to de-stress myself by not reading or listening to it

How horrible! Your poor DH! I am so sorry to hear this, I can't even imagine! Glad he wasn't hurt, but the trauma, my goodness. 🙁

Yes. I am so sorry you and your DH are going through this. He should feel safe in the hospital.

Wow!
What happened?
she said someone had a sick dog and she had to get it to a vet.
I think I have the cure for that sweet tooth. Today I made banana bread, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate pudding pie with cool whip topping. You may have a sugar high.
Hahaha Busted Larry!
