Granny's gone and done it again

Pretty short  usually just up the street and back. But most of the time lately we don’t even go all the way up the street, only like halfway or 3/4 and then turn around. it’s .2 miles to the very end but we usually stop about 2-3 houses back. but I’ve been trying to go to the very end more lately. Or even do the loop. There’s 2 loops that I could do, one shorter, one longer. But both are longer than what I currently do.
well your off to a good start but ya, you will need to push yourself harder. :hugs

Old woman here trying to figure out all this tech crap. Glad I found Granny’s place. I’m 73 and new to being a chicken mom. First year done and so far so good. Girls are all healthy and happy and giving lots of eggs. Had a recent experience with a broody hen and information I received here worked to break her. Love all you great folks and looking forward to all the great topics and and much needed humor to help me make it through each day.
Welcome!

Good morning, oops, afternoon! Grannytopia!

:frow Hi, welcome. We're mostly old-timers here, too, so pull up a rocker and mosey along with the rest of us!

Morning, temps here are in the 50s . Its a heatwave!!!
65° here at almost 4 pm. The sky is actually blue, amazing. Beautiful day. Wish I could get out in it but I'm quite comfy here in my recliner, Sammy mostly at my feet and Jenny at my side. DH had to go get YS by himself today but they are home now.

We almost had a crisis! The school had emailed as they always do, to say the pick-up time in St Louis would be 12:20, as it usually is. But YS texted me at 8 am to say he was on the bus already. Yikes! It is only a 2-hr ride for him, 3 hrs for us. DH jumped in the car and was off like a shot. The bus actually arrived a little after 10! DH got there shortly after. It was by the grace of God that YS texted me! If he hadn't ... I don't know what. The bus has to make another stop after his, and DH would not have gotten there for another two hours.

Oh wow!!!!!

Good evening lol
It's evening but not one of the good ones here. It's a dreary evening and only 54° making it miserable out. We didn't let the girls out of their coops this afternoon as rounding them up in the rain would not be good. Also the conditions are right for predators to hunt during daylight hours.
