I've had a great supper and am just waiting for the kids to get on there roosts. They are running together during the afternoon until dark and they get along pretty well. The Boys are careful who they take care of business with so the fights are minimal. No long drawn out butt kicking going on. Quite a few "I Dare You" looks given our over the pullets as to which belong to who. What we call our kitchen garden got tilled today by SIL. I'm going to round up a plot in the morning before it gets tilled. It's heavy in a grass that spread like a wild fire when it get tilled in. If I kill before tilling I want have to battle it all summer long. BBL

Oh Ladies about those knees.... Ma has had 3 knee replacements. One of her knew knees wore out and had to be replaced after we moved to Alabama. She gets around now without all the pain. There are somethings that she cannot do. She can't crawl down a row of carrots pulling them up as she can't put weight on her knees form that angle. Walking is fine and that's what is important.

Well it's dark enough I can go out and start closing coops. I'm going to walk it tonight with a walker instead of riding on the John Deere. I need the exercise.
